History:

Kelli Todd began her real estate career in 1984, working for her father, Bob Todd's real estate company. Bob Todd was a true visionary and had pioneered the RE/MAX franchise system in California two years earlier. He had 2 offices and 40 agents in the Southern Los Angeles area (Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach). Kelli managed the daily operations and staff while Bob recruited agents. By 1990 they grew the operation to several hundred agents and 6 offices. Despite the hard times in the early 90's the company continued to grow, as well as Bob and Kelli’s partnership, with a focus on providing a solid infrastructure for independent contractors to be in business 'for themselves but not by themselves' with seasoned staff, full time legal support, cutting edge tools and technology, and a strong brand name necessary to be successful in the competitive California real estate business. Kelli was named President in 1997and CEO in 2005.

Kelli has sat on several advisory boards for industry related businesses such as: Quality Service Certification, Inc., Realtor.com, and Realtor Association groups. She is currently a board member of a (for profit) division of the California Association of REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS®. Kelli has been recognized in the industry for her focus, leadership and growth including being inducted into the 2002 National Association of Women Business Owners Hall of Fame and in 2003 she was awarded the Business Women of the Year from The Women's Referral Services Group. She was also recognized by the LA Business Journal as one of the "Women Who Make a Difference" in 2005.

Today, the operation has spread throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay with approximately 250 associates. RE/MAX Marquee Partners, Inc. consistently ranks amongst the largest real estate companies in the world and is recognized as such in the Los Angeles Business Journal and the REALTrends Institute, as well as being one of the largest RE/MAX franchises in the world!

Community Involvement:

The company was founded with strong integrity and the belief of "giving back". It began in 1982 with local charities, community events and school adoptions. In the early 90’s Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) was adopted nationally by RE/MAX International. CMN became the focus of many fundraisers for Bob, Kelli and the RE/MAX® associates, and despite industry and economic hardships, the tradition still lives strong within the company today!
